Whitetail Record Book

Whitetail Record Book

Hunting has certainly evolved with time, just look how far the technology has come in the past few years! Jackets that retain body heat and block scent, hunting blinds with heated floors, crossbows that are accurate up to 80 yards! This certainly isn’t the type of hunting our grandparents were doing!

Before hunting became somewhat of a publicity stunt or just something people do for a trophy it was about taking care of the family, putting meat in the freezer and food on the table. However, sometimes just trying to fill the freezer can land you in the record books!

We loved an article that Petersen’s Hunting put together. It lists the 20 Biggest Typical Whitetail Bucks of All Time. The people at Petersen’s teamed up with the Boone and Crockett team to put this article together and it is a very good read! These deer are out of this world! Some monster bucks, these large whitetails will probably maintain their spots in the record books for years to come!
